CEE has been working in the state of Goa since 2001. The state office at Goa is an effort to initiate long-term Environmental Education programmes and activities that are responsible to local needs, intensive in focus and extensive in reach.
Besides extending core programmes of the Centre to Goa, CEE Goa is developing a variety of new projects and initiatives in the region. Specific content areas include programmes related to school’s developing locale-specific material, interpretation, capacity building and networking.
We hold space, listen deeply, ask powerful questions and engage in conversations that matter. We believe that many of the issues in the world could be ameliorated once we all speak with intention and listen with attention.
My tryst with collaborations first began in 2000 and the model was simple and straight forward: professional integrity and equal monetary benefits! With my recent plunge into mentoring college students, social architecture and community work and the move to a larger and more central work space, I have been able to experiment with the next level of professionalism- collaborations, delegation and cooperative leadership, giving me the needed space to devote to more passions! My travel experiences across the globe and work opportunities with the local community have also taught me two important lessons that I’m currently experimenting with and enjoying the benefits of : 1. the art of delegation and 2. Cooperative leadership.
