Minutes of the 132nd meeting of the Goa State Pollution Control Board, Panjim (29 Jun. 2018). Highlights include:
Mormugao Port Trust application for handling of new industrial products and resources considered, requirement for Environmental Clearance issued before permission to be granted in order to minimize resulting air pollution
South West Port Ltd. granted permission for shipment of coal, required to provide Rs. 1 Crore deposit in case of non-compliance with environmental regulations, coal shipments capped and must be evenly distributed throughout the year
proposed fish processing plant at Barcem-Quedem denied provisional permission, due to objection from local village panchayat
